Working on any serious project is bound to result in some injuries. I try to be careful, but occasionally sh*t happens...

Well, was doing pretty good on RS2, till today. Was trimming some rubber wheels down on the table saw, and one kicked back, threw the plastic pusher I was using into my gut, and left a pretty good mark!

Somehow in the kickback incident, my finger got cut pretty deep.  Bleed quite a bit. Don't think it hit the blade.

Cut myself on the sharp edges of the aluminum structural panels I'm cutting on the table saw. What a beautiful cut. (The aluminum, not my finger).
04/12/01
Cut myself on some aluminum shielding while doing the second test run. What was my first thought? Grab the camera!

Four hours of filing aluminum epoxy resulted in quite a huge blister on my thumb. Doesn't hurt yet, but when it breaks, work is going to be complicated.
03/15/01
Searing hot aluminum flying off the cutoff blade has a tendency to cause blisters when it lands on skin. Here's a couple day old picture of the results of a piece landing on my lip.

While snipping the tabs connecting the batteries together, I sliced my ring finger on the left hand on one of the sharp tabs. The picture here is pretty poor, but it's taken right after it happened, with fresh blood oozing out.

Bumped the middle finger on my left hand into the abrasive disk on my angle grinder (while it was running). It burned and ripped the skin off. Hurt like hell, bleed quite a bit. The picture is two days later.

Slipped with a screw driver trying to break epoxy out of a sprocket. Ripped a flap of skin loose. The picture is five days later, after cutting the dead flap off with a nail cutter.
