Recognition of Risk

This business plan represents management's best estimate of the future potential of our business venture. It should be recognized that not all major risks can be accurately predicted or otherwise avoided and that few business plans are free of errors of omission or commission. Therefore investors should be aware that this business has inherent risks that should be evaluated prior to any investment.

Business Overview

Business History

The area of robotic combat has gained a huge amount of momentum over the past few years. It has grown into an industry, with opportunities available in tournaments, parts, services, merchandising, websites, etc.

Vision and Mission Statement

Clobberbots.com seeks to establish and maintain a presence in the field of robotic combat. Providing information through a website, and designs for innovative parts are just a couple areas Clobberbots.com will be involved. The primary means of generating interest and respect in the field will be through robotic combat competitions/tournaments. Success in this area will also lead to sponsorship, television royalties, and merchandising deals.

Objectives

Our primary objectives are:

  1. Develop a combat robot and compete with it in a BattleBots tournament.

  2. Make connections in the robotic combat community.

  3. Expand our reputation through competitions, online forums, and personal contacts.

  4. Through private investment in the first two years, position the business for interest from sponsors in year three.

  5. Use sponsorship funds to build higher quality robots, allowing a potential to make it to 'television rounds', which generate royalties, and possible merchandise endorsements.

Ownership

Clobberbots.com is a proprietorship owned by Joseph P. Fieber.

Location and Facilities

Clobberbots.com is run from the residence of Joseph P. Fieber, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Because most public contact will be via remote competitions, e-mail, internet forums, and websites, physical location is not a major concern.
