Wednesday, the day of my fight. Got down to the island early, topped off the batteries, and prepared for the fight. About 45 minutes before the fight they called me to get in line. Apparently someone had checked out the clip for my frequency, and they couldn't find it. Eventually, when I was the next to get into the box, they gave me my transmitter with a replacement clip (had a '-2' on it). Not very comforting knowing that at any moment someone else's transmitter might take control of my bot.

Because of a non-disclosure agreement, I can't discuss what happened in the box, or what the outcome was. I can tell you what I did the rest of the day.

After my fight, I missed a number of good fights because I was busy in the pits working on my bot (hint hint). I ended up utilizing some services from Lincoln Welding, who was there doing free welding for everyone. Great guys!

Watched the fights for the evening session. Lots of good destruction. After the fights, Battlebots aired the 'Drew Carry Show' in the pits, which featured some robots, and provided free beer and hot dogs. 

Got back to the hotel by ten so I can get another good night of sleep, for reasons I can't discuss.
